Mayacamas Vineyards was first founded in 1889 by John Henry Fisher and was renamed to its current title back in 1941. The estate has been producing high-quality and balanced wines for over fifty years and focuses on early harvests, meticulous farming, and use of neutral oak to keep wines bright and vibrant. The 1998 Napa Valley Merlot is showing gorgeously at this moment. Notes of dried red fruits, pebbles, and dill are marked by bracing acidity and well-integrated tannins.
