Domaine de Montille is one of Volnay’s top estates and ‘Les Taillepieds’ is consistently one of the winery’s most impressive cuvées. Fruit comes from two parcels of 80-year-old vines and is vinified with 100% whole clusters. Fresh, fragrant, and textured, the wine shows flavors of dark cherries, sandalwood, and wet earth. 2017 was marked by tension and concentration that will take a few years to integrate.
