Guillaume joined his parents Brigitte Roch and Gilbert Clusel at the family estate back in 2009 and officially began crafting his own line of organic wines back in 2014. Fruit for his Saint-Joseph Rouge comes from granitic soils and is vinified with 50% whole clusters in steel vats. Post-fermentation, the wine ages for 9-10 months in oak casks, 25% of which is new. This dark-fruited gem shows flavors of sappy plums, black pepper, and scorched earth, marked by chewy tannins and bright acidity.
